Mini Symposium on Computational Physics

Tuesday October 13th - Rm 620, Physics Lidow building

I would like this to be very informal to get discussion going between
my group and others with similar interests.
It is a welcome to new and potential students in Computational Physics,
(both graduate students and past/present Computational Physics class
  students). Comments and additions welcome.
Volunteer your friends or students! Self volunteers welcome too!
Please send titles asap, and let me know if I should reserve some pizza
  for you.
                                    Joan Adler (phr76ja@tx.technion.ac.il)

10:15 - Welcome coffee, rm 605
10:30 - Adham Hashibon, Fraunhofer Institute, Frieburg
``A kinetic approach to the study of thin-film systems and interfaces''
11:15 - Michael Bachmann, Soft Matter Systems Research Group, Juelich
``Modeling and Simulation of Polymer Adsorption to Solid
12:00 - Thomas Vogel, Soft Matter Systems Research Group, Juelich
``Structural Behavior of Polymers from Monte Carlo
        Studies of Coarse-Grained Models''
12:45 - Pizza, discussion
13:00 - 4 short presentations by graduate students and/or
        Computational Physics class
