PARTICLE in a SQUARE WELL

k is the wavenumber that we discussed a lot recently.
How did we get this solution??? basically it is a clever guess, based on knowledge about this type of wave equation.
All wavefunctions must obey 4 conditions:

One peak in the probability for each n of the energy level! Remember this... e.g. for n=3 the probability of finding a particle is zero at L=0, L=L/3, L=2L/3, L=L etc.
